Before I jump into the trending printable products, I want to summarize what exactly Printable and Digital based items are. A Printable or Digital based Etsy shop is a shop that primarily focuses on selling items that are digital or printable. The customer never receives a physical product, rather, they receive a digital download after the purchase.
Printable & Digital shops are SUPER popular due to the increasing demand, low overhead cost and true passive nature of the business; you create a product once and resell over & over again.
Let’s jump into the three trending types of items:
Trending Etsy Printable Item #1: WORKBOOKS & GUIDES
A workbook and guide can apply to literally any niche; whether you’re a wellness shop, a creative shop, a jewelry shop, a shop focused on mom’s OR ANY and all in-between, your customer NEEDS a workbook & guide.
I want you to think about the questions you get asked the MOST frequently about your niche, or the biggest problem your ideal customer could have, and create an outline for a workbook that digitally leads your customer from a Point A to Point B to resolve their pain point.
Trending Etsy Printable Item #2: PROJECT PLANNERS
Along with guides and workbooks, I KNOW your ideal customer has some sort of “project” that they have on their mind and you have the experience and skills to help them manage this project. You might think to yourself, “I sell jewelry… how would this apply to me?” If that is you, you could do a “jewelry reorganization project planner” or “jewelry inventory categorization project planner.” Generally, people are overwhelmed over projects so make their lives a bit easier and create a Project Plan to help them out.
Trending Etsy Printable Item #3: DIGITAL PLANNER
Regardless of what your niche is, your customer probably wants a digital version to help with planning. Many times, people hear “Digital Planner” and automatically think of traditional monthly, weekly or academic calendars- and while there is a HUGE opportunity for the more traditional types of planners, you can use this concept and create a planner for a majority of niches. Whether you’re doing a self care planner, back to school planner, career search planner - the list goes on and on and on- a digital planner is an excellent, and lucrative, printable item to add to your repertoire.
